Marc Jonkers is, and always has been, very committed to promoting young artists. In his festivals and other activities he gave a lot of attention to producing choreographic work for youth and stimulating artistic collaborations between choreographers, circus/ theater makers and composers. He is a great advocate of establishing a ‘Dutch tradition’ in contemporary dance and circus theater.
Marc and his husband Jan Linkens live in The Hague.
